A business coach with more than three decades of experience in technology and leadership coaching and training, Tether Free Vision Founder, Marie Bankuti, specializes in helping foreign-born professionals acclimate, so that they can thrive in U.S. companies.
Marie’s work focuses on helping both foreign-born individuals and the companies that hire them accelerate ease of acclimation, boost productivity levels, and improve the future leadership potential of those coming to work from abroad. Offering individual, group, and corporate coaching, Marie has worked with hundreds of individuals from more than a dozen countries, with client companies including Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide, Cognizant Technology Solutions and others. Her program topics include relationship building, cross-cultural communication, understanding cultural differences, overcoming language limitations, work-life balance and more.
Prior to launching Tether Free Vision in 2008, Marie spent many years in a wide range of project management, business analyst and hands-on information technology positions. A natural born “translator,” Marie has often played the role of improving communication between technology and business leaders, as well as between U.S. and foreign-born professionals. The concept behind Tether Free Vision is the process of cutting the ties, identifying and eliminating the things that hold us back from reaching our goals.
A frequent and sought-after speaker with a passion for engaging and inspiring audiences in interactive experiences through keynotes, symposiums, workshops, facilitation and roundtable discussions, Marie has been recognized with both the Toastmasters Advanced Communicator Bronze Award (ACB) as well as the Toastmasters Advanced Leadership Bronze Award (ALB).
Marie’s professional qualifications also include Professional Leadership & Team Coach/Trainer, Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has a BS in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in Boston.
Marie is an avid outdoorswoman and adventure sports enthusiast and enjoys a self-proclaimed “love affair with hot air balloons.” She lives in Maynard, Massachusetts.
